Bettina Gallego

Bettina Gallego Tolkmitt - Coaching. Leadership. Mindfulness. Leveraging her experience as an Executive Coach and Entrepreneur with her Investment Banking career, Bettina has developed proprietary methodologies related to team management, engagement and leadership skills, helping to focus and align vision, mission and values of management and corporations, enabling transformation and success. Bettina is co-founder of the start-up Samastah, a platform that offers ad-hoc solutions to achieve Self-balance, Fellow of Oxford Leadership Academy, speaker of the agency Thinking Heads, and has an extensive client portfolio including Telefónica, Microsoft, Novartis, Ferrovial, Mapfre, Banesto, and Michelin among others.

On the other hand, Bettina has over fourteen years of experience in the financial sector as an investment fund manager in different organizations in Madrid and London, with access to top management of European companies of diverse industries. As a Sicavs manager and analyst at Inversis Bank, media interventions and strategy presentations were frequent. Previously co-founded Acumen Gesitón, a social sustainable venture capital firm, and worked in Belgravia Capital, an asset management start-up firm. Formerly she developed her career as a fund manager/analyst at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Asset Management in Madrid and London. Bettina has a degree in Business Administration and a MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Trained in Neuro-linguistic programming and Coaching at the NLP Academy in London with John Grinder (co-creator of NLP), serves as coach to executives. In addition she is a yoga teacher at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centre, where she has been practicing yoga for thirteen years, giving yoga and meditation, stress management and positive thinking courses. A partner and member of the Madrid Hub, and as a Business Angel she funds several entrepreneurial projects in Spain and India, a country she has visited in eight occasions. She also collaborates with Fundación Vicente Ferrer, Fundación Ananta, Art of Living Foundation, Balia Foundation through the Wharton Club, Ashoka Foundation, NGO Solidarios para el desarrollo and AFS International, cultural exchange program. She has contributed to the launch of several books, and is fluent in Spanish, German, English, French and Portuguese.

Her passion is to learn and contribute to development, and her motto is smile at the world and the world will smile back at you.
